EDWARDS’ SYNDROME – Mini-doc

Synopsis: Three families tell their story of what it is like to have a child with Edwards’ syndrome.

A documentary for the NHS.

Production Year: 2022

The doc was made to create awareness of what Edwards’ syndrome is in order to help reduce the stigma that can be attached to child loss.

Each family was incredibly honesty in a way that would truly help others who may be experiencing similar feelings.

The documentary was made by the NHS with numerous organisations including Soft and Public Health England.

The wider story is of grief, acceptance and hope. I felt an incredible sense of duty to each of the families (and their children) to tell each story in a way that portrayed their feelings and experiences in a limited space of time. I worked with the parents, many parts of the NHS and the charity Soft to achieve this important piece for the NHS website.
